Face coverings are acceptable to wear at when playing games however these will not be provided by Compendium Bury. Our start times are staggered so that no teams will come into contact with each other whilst playing at Compendium, each booking is private for your safety. We ask teams to arrive 5 minutes early to their booking so that health and safety briefings can be fulfilled and so that customers can complete their entry health and safety measures before entering the briefing room. This 5 minutes is not optional and if teams do not arrive 5 minutes before their booking they risk this time being factored into game time. This is to ensure that all teams are brought into the building separately and safely. If you are going to be late please ensure that you contact us and where possible we will do our best to accommodate you. Please note, There are now longer breaks between room times to ensure thorough cleaning and disinfecting.
  • What should I wear to play at Compendium?
Sometimes, in order to find clues, a participant may need to crawl on the floor. So you definitely don’t want to be wearing nice pants, or a fancy dress. Instead, you should wear clothes that you don’t mind crawling in. Additionally, you need to wear clothes that you can move around comfortably in.
  • How old do I need to be?
Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Our games are mainly aimed at adults and families and we recommend that groups of children should start at the age of 12+
  • Are Escape Room's dangerous?
Escape rooms are puzzles. They’re about minds not muscles. You’ll never be moving furniture, climbing on top of things, prying off electrical sockets, or anything physically dangerous. … Anything that seems dangerous or potentially damage the room is not going to amount in a clue.
