We went to Compendium for a family activity and it didn't disappoint. The staff were super friendly and helpful and we had so much fun. We will definitely be back!
Played turd raider was a really enjoyable experience with great set design and puzzles. Staff very friendly, giving just the right amount of support throughout the game. We have played all the games at Compendium and enjoyed them all, but Turd has to be our favourite. So if you're looking for an enjoyable escape room at a reasonable price, then Compendium is the escape room for you

Sometimes, in order to find clues, a participant may need to crawl on the floor. So you definitely don’t want to be wearing nice pants, or a fancy dress. Instead, you should wear clothes that you don’t mind crawling in. Additionally, you need to wear clothes that you can move around comfortably in.
Any children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a paying adult (18+)
Our games are mainly aimed at adults and families and we recommend that groups of children should start at the Age of 12+
Escape rooms are puzzles. They’re about minds not muscles. You’ll never be moving furniture, climbing on top of things, prying off electrical sockets, or anything physically dangerous. … Anything that seems dangerous or potentially damage the room is not going to amount in a clue.
ALCOHOL IS PROHIBITED ON OUR PREMISES! If our staff suspect you to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs upon your arrival you will be refused entry and your game may be cancelled. (No refund vouchers will be given.)
Compendium Bury is located in an old Victorian building with reception and toilet facilities on the 2nd floor, requiring climbing 2 flights of stairs. As a result, individuals with mobility issues may face challenges accessing the premises.

If you wish to make an amendment to your booking which includes moving to another day or time *Please note, a processing fee of £15 applies to all changes to any bookings/vouchers created..
As long as the additional player does not exceed the maximum room capacity then you are more than welcome to bring more players, this is charged at £16 per player on the night.
When booking using a voucher for more players than the voucher was purchased for, you can make a booking on our website for the extra amount of players. The voucher can be used to add on the number of players the voucher is for.
Sometimes being late is unavoidable we do however ask one of your team to let Compendium know by phone if you think you are going to be late. Teams that are more than 10 minutes late to play without prior arrangement are at risk game cancellation with no refund voucher.
We ask teams to arrive 5 minutes before the start time of your game. This is for your health and safety briefing which is mandatory despite how many games you have played.
